Job summary

North Pointe, a Sonida Senior Living community in Anderson, SC, is seeking a Culinary Services Cook to plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals in a fast-paced, sanitary dining operation.

You will support the Culinary Services Director, maintain standards for meal service, and help ensure resident satisfaction. A High School diploma and Food Service Sanitation Certificate are required, with benefits including health insurance, 401k, and PTO from day one.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.
• Experience with volume meal preparation and serving for large groups.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized, timely, and sanitary manner.
• Assists the Culinary Services Director in maintaining a well-organized and efficient Dining Services department.
• Prepares and serves meals for assigned shifts.
• Maintains standards for dining services to the Residents to include efficient meal service delivery, customer service and cleanliness of the dining room and kitchen.
• Clean after preparation and service; work area, pots and equipment.
• Ensures all leftovers are covered, labeled, dated and stored in the proper place.
