Job summary

Aspen Grove, a Sonida Senior Living community in Lambertville, Michigan, seeks a friendly Culinary Service Assistant to join our dining team and deliver quality resident service.

Responsibilities include serving residents, assisting in food preparation and setup, maintaining sanitation, and following safety standards. Candidates typically have 1–2 years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar position preferred.
• Twelve or more years of education; Highschool Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.
• Assists in drink and food preparation for the residents and performs assigned tasks in clean up, washing the dishes and setting up and taking down the dining areas.
• Preparing and serving snacks to include replenishing stock items in the common area refreshment centers for the residents.
• Maintains procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards in order to assure compliance with governmental regulations.
• Adheres to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to assure effective food service.
