Job summary

fhcexternal is seeking a Culinary Services Aide in Austell, GA to perform designated work and cleaning routines for the culinary department, ensuring resident safety and compliance with applicable standards.

You will assist the cook in meal preparation and service, set up dining areas, handle trays and meals, and follow infection control and safety protocols. English literacy and prior institutional dietary service experience are preferred; ServeSafe is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Previous institutional dietary service experience preferred.
• ServeSafe preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the cook in meal preparation and service.
• Follow Federal and State regulations and department policies.
• Perform cleaning routines and set up dining areas.
• Assist in arranging trays, loading food carts, and serving meals.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines.
• Attend in-service educational programs.
• Comply with HIPAA, safety, and confidentiality policies.
• Participate in mandatory training and competencies annually.
