Job summary

fhcexternal is seeking a Culinary Services Aide to perform designated work and cleaning routines for the culinary department in alignment with federal, state, and local standards and policies, with resident safety as a primary objective.

You will assist cooks, arrange trays, serve meals, set up dining rooms, wash dishes, follow infection control and fire/disaster protocols, attend in-service trainings, and participate in department meetings.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• ServeSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined work routines in the culinary department with standard safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist cooks in meal preparation and service, arrange trays and serve meals.
• Follow cleaning schedules and infection control procedures; maintain dining room setup.
• Wash and store dishes; assist in receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Attend in-service trainings and department meetings; adhere to safety and HIPAA-like policies.
