Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation.
• Maintains food handlers permit as required by state regulations.
• Communicates effectively in English with residents and staff.
• Meets state health requirements related to the role.
• Works well in a team and is a positive team player.
• Keeps business and resident information confidential.
• Good customer service and organizational skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Follows policies, procedures, and standards.
• Passes criminal record, health screening, and TB clearance as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash, and store dishes following procedures.
• Maintain a clean, orderly dishwashing area.
• Assist in bussing, serving, and delivering meals or room trays.
• Set and clear tables in dining room.
• Assist cooks with cleaning areas and floors, sweeping and mopping.
• Document dishwasher temperature log at required times.
• Dispose of garbage and move to proper dump site.
• Work with culinary team to ensure smooth and safe kitchen operation.
• Complete closing checklist and ensure kitchen is swept and cleaned.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• May be cross-trained into other Community roles on a relief basis.
