Job summary

This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to sanitation, and reliability; you will follow procedures, maintain a clean dishwashing area, and support cooks and dining staff to ensure a smooth dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Cleanliness and sanitation knowledge required.
• Maintain state/Company health and safety compliance.
• Effective English communication with residents and staff.
• Meet health and background clearance as applicable.
• Team-oriented with professional conduct.
• Maintain confidentiality of business information.
• Strong customer service and organization skills.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow policies.
• Criminal background and health TB clearance as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash, and store dishes following procedures.
• Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist in bussing, serving, and delivering meals or trays.
• Set and clear tables in dining rooms.
• Assist cooks with cleaning and sanitation routines daily.
• Document dishwasher temperature logs as required.
• Assist with general kitchen duties as part of the culinary team.
• Complete closing checklist; ensure kitchen is swept and cleaned.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation practices and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Relieve other roles within Community as needed.
