Job summary

Sunshine Retirement Living is seeking a dedicated kitchen support associate to assist with dishwashing, meal service, and general kitchen cleanliness in a retirement community setting.

You will help prepare, wash, and store dishes, maintain an orderly dishwashing area, and assist cooks with cleaning duties and meal delivery as needed. Adherence to safety and sanitation practices is essential, along with teamwork and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a team setting and be a positive team player.
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional approach with coworkers and residents.
• Satisfactorily pass criminal record clearance, health screening, and TB clearance if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash, and store dishes following Sunshine Retirement Living LLC procedures.
• Clean and maintain an orderly and safe dishwashing area.
• Assist in bussing, serving, and delivery of meals and/or room trays if needed.
• Set and clear tables in dining room.
• Assist Cooks in cleaning food preparation and serving areas and equipment, sweeping, and mopping floors.
