Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and service areas, ensuring dishes and equipment are cleaned and stored properly. You will support the culinary team in delivering quality dining experiences to residents.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety guidelines, and clear communication with residents and staff to uphold Legend’s Gold Leaf Dining standards.

Responsibilities

• Operating the dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware and food service equipment
• Emptying dish machine and properly storing clean items
• Cleaning the preparation and service areas according to health code requirements
• Taking all garbage to the dumpster
• Laundering table linens
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
