Job summary

Ayden Healthcare of Wauseon is seeking a Culinary Services Aide to assist in preparing and serving meals for patients, employees, and special events under the Culinary Director. They will follow the planned menus and resident diet orders while ensuring food is served safely and timely.

The role requires proper food handling, adherence to menus, and support for kitchen and dining operations. High school education is needed; prior food prep/service in a nursing setting is preferred, plus a food

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, high school education.
• Experience in food prep and service preferred.
• Experience in food prep and service within a skilled nursing/term care facility preferred.
• Food handler’s permit preferred.
• Superior customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Using proper food handling/ safety techniques and is of proper quantity
• Completed on time as scheduled, and is in accordance with the menu & residents’ diet order
• Wash dishes, etc. when necessary or when instructed to do so by the Culinary Director.
• May perform other duties as assigned by the Culinary Director when necessary.
