Job summary

Ayden Healthcare of Oregon is currently seeking a Culinary Services Aide to assist in the preparation and service of meals for patients, employees, and special events as instructed by the Culinary Director.

The role involves serving food and snacks according to the planned menu, respecting patient diet orders, and maintaining safety and quality in food handling. A positive customer service approach is essential, with opportunities for growth and reliable daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, high school education.
• Experience in food prep and service preferred.
• Experiences in food prep and service within a skilled nursing / term care facility strongly preferred
• Food handler’s permit preferred
• Superior customer service skills required

Responsibilities

• Using proper food handling/ safety techniques and is of proper quantity
• Completed on time as scheduled, and is in accordance with the menu / residents’ diet order
• Wash dishes, etc. when necessary or when instructed to do so by the Culinary Director.
• May perform other duties as assigned by the Culinary Director when necessary.
