Job summary

The University of Arizona is seeking a Dining Services Attendant to support food preparation and serving operations in the dining services unit on campus in Tucson. The role focuses on line setup, portion-controlled service, and basic food prep following standardized recipes.

You will help maintain sanitation and assist customers with a friendly, courteous approach. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays availability requested.
• 40 hours per week; full time position.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and replenishes serving lines and serves customers in food service unit.
• Performs food preparation tasks such as sandwiches, salads and beverages per written recipes.
• Cleans and processes fruits and vegetables and prepares salads per recipes.
• Weighs, labels, dates, and stores all food items.
• Operates and cleans food service equipment.
• Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in the work area.
