The University of Georgia is seeking a server to assist the Culinary Service Manager in front of house service for Georgia Football. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and stocking food service areas. A minimum of 1 year food service experience is required.
The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of health and food safety codes and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. The role involves physical demands, including lifting equipment over 40 lbs and working flexible hours as needed.
The server will assist the Culinary Service Manager in executing front of the house service for Georgia Football. This person will need to follow proper cleaning and sanitation procedures as well as multitask. They will also be responsible for stocking front of house, which includes but is not limited to various fueling stations, food service lines and tabletops.
Minimum of 1 year experience in food service experience.
Knowledge of health and food safety codes for food preparation, storage and serving. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with culinary team. Ability to follow instructions with daily tasks given including but not limited to stocking and clean up. Previous experience in a culinary/restaurant position and ServSafe Certification.
Lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40 lbs. Work while handling outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time. Move around campus, which includes gym, turf, fields, etc. Work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
