Job summary

Electric Playhouse in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a dedicated line cook to support daily kitchen operations. You will prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards, maintain proper storage, and keep the station clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cooking procedures relevant to the menu, including pantry items, prepping, sandwiches, salads, and desserts.
• Maintain Food Handlers Certification.
• Work with hot and cold food products, utensils, dinner plates and glassware.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, special events and late evenings as required.
• Maintain the highest level of safety in the facility through safety protocols and procedures.
• Tattoos, long hair, and piercings welcome.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
• Proper handling, storage of all food items.
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
• Prepares all ingredients for the shift before service begins.
• Answer, report and follow Executive/Sous Chef’s instructions.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
