Job summary

The Chefs’ Warehouse is seeking a driven Sales Associate to represent our premium foodservice offerings to restaurants, caterers, hotels, and retail outlets in the Sonoma area. You will build relationships, present products, and drive revenue growth through new and existing accounts.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of restaurant or food sales experience, excellent communication, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

Must live within a commutable distance to the assigned geographic sales area.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have basic computer skills and understanding.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Grow Revenue: Develop new business opportunities and expand relationships with existing accounts.
Build Customer Portfolio: Compile prospective customer lists from networking, directories, ads, trade shows and websites.
Travel: Visit customers in the territory to secure orders.
Present & Quote: Demonstrate products and quote prices/terms for contracts.
Deliver & Collect: Provide delivery estimates and collect payments timely.
Stay Organized: Maintain records and keep systems current with sales data and expenses.
Collaborate: Work with inside sales to keep account activities up to date.
Inventory Awareness: Track stock levels to align product availability with demand.
Build Relationships: Develop contracts rooted in trust for long-term collaboration.
