Job summary

Holiday by Atria - Birch Heights in New Hampshire seeks a kitchen team member to assist with meal preparation and presentation, delivering a high level of service to residents in a warm dining environment.

You will work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, maintaining a clean, safe kitchen, following recipes and production guides, and supporting special events and banquets as needed. Benefits are provided in the overview.

Qualifications

• Effective read, write and communicate in English with residents and staff.
• Food handlers permit as required by law.
• ServSafe certification is required.
• Able to read recipes and production guides.
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, cooking and service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of meals.
• Provide high level of customer service.
• Work with Executive Chef/Sous Chef to keep residents satisfied with dining programs.
• Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and food safety standards.
• Assist with preparing and presenting meals and snacks per company recipes and production guides.
• Keep kitchen floors clean and trash emptied.
• Assist with transportation and storage of food and supplies.
• Assist cooks as requested.
• Attend pre-meal stand-up in the kitchen.
• May perform other duties as needed.
