Job summary

Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach is seeking Prep-Cooks to join the team under FirstService Residential. The Cook assists the Executive and Sous Chef in executing the culinary program, maintains a clean and organized kitchen, and may train co-workers as needed.

The role supports safe food handling and compliance with health regulations while contributing to an exceptional dining experience. The position requires 1-3 years of kitchen experience, ability to work nights/weekends, and knowledge

Qualifications

• Must have 1-3 years of similar or equivalent experience in a kitchen role.
• Basic cooking techniques including braising, sautéing, roasting, grilling, and portion control.
• Serv-Safe food handlers certification is required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Interact with residents and team to deliver a high-quality dining experience.
• Assist Executive Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Participate in catering and events preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene in the kitchen.
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards are met per regulations.
• Assist in inventory and daily set-up of kitchen.
