Job summary

Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach is seeking Prep-Cooks to join our team under FirstService Residential. The Cook assists the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations of the kitchen, supports catering and events, and ensures food quality and sanitation.

Candidates should have 1-3 years in a similar role, a high school diploma, and ServSafe certification is preferred. Willingness to work nights and weekends and ability to lift 50+ pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
• Experience in a restaurant, hotel, resort or club is a plus.
• Basic cooking knowledge and knife handling.
• Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
• Support catering and special events.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and proper hygiene.
• Train coworkers as needed.
• Ensure food quality and wholesomeness complies with laws and standards.
