Job summary

Ohio Living seeks a Culinary and Nutritional Services Supervisor to organize and direct all aspects of service and hospitality within the department, ensuring high-quality meals, sanitation, and compliance with standards.

You will oversee inventory, staff scheduling, training, and coordination with other departments to deliver consistent, appetizing plates while maintaining a clean, safe facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ServSafe certification required or obtainable within a reasonable timeframe.
• Two years experience in a food service/hospitality environment; one year supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office; knowledge of POS and diet management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operations Management - supervise and assist in preparation of meals, ensure timely service and manage inventories.
• Customer Relations and Service Management - respond to resident needs and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Quality, Compliance, and Risk Management - uphold quality, sanitation, infection control and confidentiality.
• People Management and Development - hire, coach, and develop staff; coordinate training and scheduling.
• Administration and Reporting - maintain records and documentation per standards and regulations.
