Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Culinary and Nutritional Service Associate I or II to support daily dining operations. You will help prepare and serve meals, maintain sanitary kitchen areas, and assist with special events, ensuring quality nutrition and resident satisfaction.

The role requires reading, writing and speaking English, a high school diploma (preferred), and a willingness to learn—on-the-job training provided. Weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency: read, write, speak and understand English.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food service experience a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day culinary functions to serve meals and snacks that are palatable and appetizing.
• Assists in serving meals on time and delivers food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas.
• Ensures meals are served in accordance with portion control procedures.
• Maintains clean, sanitary, and safe work areas and equipment; assists in cleaning tasks as directed.
• Assists in executing special events and participates in planning and preparation.
• Distributes, collects, and counts menus as necessary.
