Job summary

Ohio Living in Town of Mount Pleasant, NY, seeks a Culinary and Nutritional Service Associate I or II to support daily dining operations and ensure high-quality, appetizing meals for residents. You will help serve meals, deliver trays, and maintain clean, safe kitchens in compliance with regulations.

High school diploma preferred; on-the-job training provided. Reading, writing, and speaking English is required; weekend/evening shifts may be scheduled as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food service experience a plus, but not required. On-the-job training provided.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day culinary functions to serve meals and snacks that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assists in serving meals and delivering carts, trays, and supplies to designated areas.
• Maintains clean, sanitary, and safe work areas and equipment.
• Assists in cleaning duties and special events planning and preparation.
• Distributes, collects, and counts menus as necessary.
