Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Culinary and Nutritional Service Associate I or II to support daily dining operations for residents. You will assist in meal preparation, serve meals, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment in compliance with regulations.

With or without prior food service experience, you will participate in planning events, manage menus, and ensure residents receive a high-quality dining experience while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food service experience a plus, but not required. On-the-job training provided.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day culinary functions to serve meals and snacks that are palatable and appetizing for residents.
• Assists in serving meals and delivering food carts, trays, and items to designated areas.
• Maintains clean, sanitary, and safe work areas and equipment; assists in cleaning duties as directed.
• Assists in executing special events and participates in their planning and preparation.
• Distributes, collects, and counts menus as necessary.
• Maintains records using computers or other documentation per standards.
