Job summary

Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa is hiring Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join its culinary team on a seasonal basis. You will prepare, plan, and organize the line setup, delivering quality service across all areas of food production.

All prep work must be maintained during shifts, with a deep knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and recipes. Expect rigorous sanitation, storage procedures, and potential banquet plating responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a similar position.
• Culinary line or prep cook experience.
• Technical culinary abilities with proficient knife skills and progressive cooking styles.
• Experience in hospitality industry or similar position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, plan, and set up the line and provide quality service in all areas of food production.
• Maintain knowledge of department policies and procedures and ensure prep work is maintained throughout shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of line workstations and prep areas.
• Inspect storage procedures, assist with inventories, and support banquet plating as needed.
• Follow maintenance and cleaning schedules and perform duties in other kitchen areas as assigned.
