Interns gain foundation across casual and signature dining, banquet kitchen, and related culinary activities, while developing an eye for food trends, quality, sanitation, and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Background consisting of college coursework in Culinary.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly with senior management, guests, vendors and colleagues.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate flexibility and patience.
• Knowledge of food trends, quality, production, sanitation, cost controls and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Learn overview of resort operations, clientele and marketplace niche.
• Understand the scope of resort activities, history, mission and departmental structure.
