Job summary

Amangiri is seeking a dedicated Culinary Intern to join our culinary team. In this full-time role, you will prepare and present high-level food items while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

You'll work closely with our talented chefs to deliver exceptional cuisine to guests and staff. This J1 Culinary internship is scheduled to begin in February 2027 until the first week of January 2028.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or equivalent professional kitchen experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Highly organized and capable of working independently.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with poise and precision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate your assigned kitchen station with precision and consistency.
• Execute prep tasks and food production as directed by the Sous Chef.
• Ensure mise en place is complete and up to standards.
• Label, date, and store all food products properly at end of shift.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members across shifts to ensure continuity and quality.
