Job summary

Devon Seafood + Steak invites aspiring culinarians to join its internship program in Hershey. You will learn knife skills, sanitation, recipe adherence, and proper food handling in a high-volume scratch kitchen within the Downtown Restaurant Group network.

You will rotate through departments based on ability and drive, gaining hands-on experience on a wood-fired grill-focused menu and contributing to consistent quality for guests.

Qualifications

• Must be a student enrolled in a culinary/pastry program or recent graduate within 6 months.
• Strong knife skills and basic knowledge of kitchen equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with ServSafe training and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare entrees, appetizers, soups, sandwiches, and sides.
• Assist in food preparation.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following ServSafe and state regulations.
• Demonstrate safe handling of tools, knives and equipment.
• Follow recipes and verbal/written directions precisely.
• Develop station proficiency and contribute to high-volume prep.
