Job summary

Devon Seafood + Steak, located in the historic Hershey Press Building, seeks an experienced line cook to prepare seafood and premium steaks to exacting standards. You will manage assigned stations, follow standardized recipes, and maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Solid knife skills; able to follow and troubleshoot recipes and menus.
• Capable of efficiently setting up and maintaining a workstation.
• Ability to assist Chef with inventory and prep across multiple stations.
• Demonstrate kitchen style through tasting and precise preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute dishes to exacting standards on assigned stations (pantry, sauté, broil, fry, dessert).
• Maintain ownership of assigned station, keeping it clean, organized and stocked.
• Follow standardized recipes and plating guidelines for consistency.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during high volume.
• Communicate with line cooks, prep staff, and expeditor to ensure timely tickets.
• Monitor food quality and presentation; ensure only items meeting standards leave the kitchen.
• Adhere to health, safety and sanitation guidelines; assist with prep and other duties as needed.
