HomePlate Catering and Hospitality, the official hospitality provider for the Somerset Patriots in Bridgewater, NJ, invites Culinary Interns for the 2027 season. Interns will learn management and operating skills within a large facility, primarily in back of house, with 30-40 hour weeks including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Positioned to start late-February through September, interns may receive college credit and have opportunities for promotion.

Qualifications

• College student seeking hands-on hospitality management experience.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must follow State of New Jersey and Township health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sous Chef in game day operations and meal prep for players.
• Help prepare catering foods including suites and Diamond Club meals.
• Stock suite kitchens and catering areas and ensure proper setup and breakdown.
• Non-game week projects include food costing, scheduling, purchasing and forecasting.
