The position is full-time and year-round, with a focus on safety, documentation, and collaboration with Ivy Tech, IDOC, and industry partners to promote re-entry success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or specialized training/experience in trade area.
• Valid Indiana teaching license or Workplace Specialist license, or willingness to obtain.
• Experience delivering hands-on technical training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, standards-aligned instruction.
• Teach hands-on lab skills supporting industry certification and workplace readiness.
• Monitor and document student progress toward learning outcomes.
• Administer TABE and other exams as needed.
• Submit weekly attendance and progress updates.
