Job summary

Ivy Tech Madison is seeking a Logistics Integrated Education and Training Instructor to teach at the Putnamville Correctional Facility in Greencastle, IN. This full-time role focuses on delivering curriculum-aligned logistics training to incarcerated adults and integrating Adult Basic Education components.

The instructor will coordinate with Ivy Tech and IDOC to promote re-entry success, develop monthly lesson plans, and monitor student progress toward credentials and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a trade area or related field.
• Valid Indiana teaching license or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, standards-aligned instruction to incarcerated learners.
• Administer TABE and track student progress.
• Collaborate with industry partners to support credentials.
• Prepare monthly lesson plans and documentation.
• Ensure safety and compliance within the facility.
