Laurel Cove in Shoreline, WA seeks a hands-on Culinary Guest Associate to support kitchen and dining functions including meal prep, service, and sanitation. The role emphasizes portion control, timely delivery, and coordinated dishwashing in a busy, resident-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to immediately obtain a Food Handler's Card.
• At least one (1) year of experience in a customer service or food service role.

• Ability to follow policies, successfully handle cash, and utilize resources in a cost-effective and safe manner.

• Serve all meals promptly using proper portion control.

• Set up, deliver, and retrieve trays and food carts; ensure diet trays are checked for accuracy.
• Perform all daily cleaning and dishwashing procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and dry kitchen/dining environment; handle waste disposal.

• Follow all food policies and make only authorized food substitutions.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We areseekingahands-on, experienced Culinary Guest Associate to provide direct support for all kitchen and dining functions. The role encompasses food preparation, timely meal service (using portion control), and dishwashing. A primary focus is on maintaining facility sanitation and safety through cleaning work areas and properly handling waste. Additionally, the Associate assists with inventory, stocking supplies, and ensures meal distribution complies with dietary guidelines.
