Job summary

Flathead Valley Community College is seeking an Assistant to support the Culinary Arts program during FVCC events. The role involves kitchen cleanup, dishwashing, serving guests, and clearing dining tables to ensure smooth event service.

The position is part-time, non-benefit eligible, and operates up to 19 hours per week. A high school diploma is required and applicants should be able to perform heavy-duty tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain professional conduct.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes and utensils, by hand or with dishwashers.
• Stores clean dishes and equipment properly.
• Maintains clean and orderly kitchen work areas.
• Empties trash and replaces liners.
• Sweeps and scrubs floors.
• Serves meals and provides water service.
• Clears dining tables and assists guests.
• Represents the College professionally and maintains confidentiality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Reports to Culinary Arts Program Director or Designee.
