Ideal candidates hold an associate degree in Culinary Arts or Baking and Pastry, with at least one year of related experience and familiarity with ServSafe requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Culinary Arts or Baking & Pastry from an accredited institution and 1+ year relevant experience.
• Post-secondary culinary arts school experience in pastry arts production and classroom environment preferred.
• Experience working with industry partners and vendors.

Responsabilités

• Cover laboratory hours and assist students in culinary arts and baking labs.
• Ensure culinary equipment functions properly.
• Set up equipment and supplies to assist instructors with demonstrations.
• Conduct inventory and coordinate with faculty to order supplies.
• Assist instructors to ensure proper procedures with commercial kitchen equipment.
• Maintain health and safety safeguards in food production.
• Manage and inventory stock to meet supply goals.
• Supervise proper use and cleaning of kitchen equipment.
• Process paperwork for instructors, students, and administrative staff.
• Maintain a friendly, supportive atmosphere for learning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
