Job summary

Xfinity Live! in Saint Louis, MO is seeking an experienced Chef Manager to lead the day-to-day culinary operations on-site. You will ensure staffing, uphold quality and sanitation, and manage cost documentation for all dishes served in the venue.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of supervisory kitchen experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays. This is a full-time, on-site role at 601 Clark Ave, Saint Louis.

Qualifications

• Two to four years supervising kitchen staff in a high-volume kitchen.
• Strong people management, communication and listening skills.
• Proven ability to lead a team and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day culinary operations per company policies.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, proper uniforms and appearance standards.
• Maintain updated costing and documentation of all dishes prepared and sold.
• Establish inventory procedures and min/max stock levels for food and equipment.
• Ensure security and proper storage of food and beverage products and supplies.
• Control BOH food costs through ordering, inventory and cost reporting.
• Communicate cooking standards clearly to staff and train accordingly.
• Lead by example and mentor new staff; resolve conflicts quickly.
