Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Culinary Director to oversee culinary services across the Estates at Delano and Excelsior. The role requires managing operations, ensuring therapeutic, high-quality meals aligned with RDA standards, and leading culinary staff across facilities.

The position demands collaboration, travel between two campuses, and a commitment to resident-focused nutrition and service quality.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership and management qualities with budgeting and menu planning knowledge.
• Must be graduate of or enrolled in an approved Culinary Services Director’s course meeting long-term care regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to improving culinary services for older adults.
• Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must pass criminal background check per Minnesota DHS guidelines.
• Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, or assisted living settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Culinary Services department to deliver quality food and nutritional services to residents.
• Provide supervision and leadership to Culinary Services staff and ensure consistent service quality.
• Plan, organize, control and direct all functions of the Culinary Services department.
