Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Culinary Service Assistant Director to lead the Culinary Services department in the Director's absence, ensuring therapeutic, nutritious meals for residents. You will supervise staff, plan menus, manage inventory, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced geriatric care setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with geriatric residents and knowledge of their needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to supervise staff.
• Ability to follow directions, work with co-workers, and perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, control and direct Culinary Services to meet nutritional and therapeutic needs.
• Maintain inventory of food and supplies and supervise food preparation.
• Orientate and train new Culinary Services personnel and supervise in the director's absence.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and safety regulations.
• Monitor diet cards, meal preparation, portion control, and diet accuracy.
