Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking an experienced Culinary Service Assistant Director to lead the Culinary Services department in the Director's absence, ensuring quality food and nutritional service for residents. The role involves planning, organizing, controlling and directing department functions, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with dietary and therapeutic standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, control and direct Culinary Services functions to meet resident nutritional needs.
• Maintain inventory of food and supplies; assist in planning special meals.
• Visit residents to evaluate food service, document diet requirements and preferences.
• Supervise cooks and food preparation; ensure meals meet therapeutic guidelines.
• Order, receive and store equipment and supplies; maintain records.
• Staffing, scheduling and budgeting the department; provide leadership and training.
