The Lodge at Jasper is seeking a Cook to join the team. The Cook reports to the Food and Beverage Director and will handle all food preparation to meet quality and service standards for residents.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitary conditions, following menus and recipes, and ensuring proper temperatures and regulatory compliance. Shift details include Mon-Fri with every other weekend required and an evening shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred.
• At least 1 year of job-related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and therapeutic diets.
• Current SERV Safe certificate or willingness to participate in certification.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve meals according to posted menus and approved recipes.
• Maintain sanitation of food service areas and equipment.
• Record keeping: temperatures, quantities and related regulatory compliance.
• Operate dish machine and ensure proper sanitation of dishes and utensils.
• Organize work to meet production and service requirements and follow production sheets.

Formation

High School Diploma / GED

Culinary apprenticeship or training

1 year job-related experience including food preparation and therapeutic diets
