Job summary

The Lodge at Jasper is seeking a Cook to join our dietary team. You will prepare meals, follow Phoenix standardized recipes, and ensure sanitation and safety in accordance with state and federal regulations.

The Cook reports to the Food and Beverage Director and works Mon-Fri with every other weekend evening shifts. Experience in food production and dietary needs is preferred; SERV Safe certification is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ GED required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred.
• 1 year job related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and therapeutic diets.
• Maintains a current SERV Safe certificate or able to participate in the training to become SERV Safe Certified.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals following approved Phoenix standardized recipes.
• Adhere to production sheets and instructions to meet schedules.
• Handle all foods in compliance with sanitary procedures and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of food service areas.
• Operate dishwashing and related sanitation procedures.
• Record and monitor temperatures and food production quantities.
