Job summary

Chedraui USA in Los Angeles is seeking an El Super Cook under the direct supervision of a Restaurant Manager. You will manage food preparation, portioning, and cooking on the kitchen line, ensuring freshness and standard recipes for consistency.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, serving food when needed, refilling display cases, and maintaining cleanliness in the department. Must be able to work nights and weekends and hold a Food Handler Card or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.
• Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook food items on the kitchen line (sautéing, frying, and other methods).
• Ensure the use of fresh ingredients and follow sanitation guidelines; prep recipes to standard to maintain product consistency.
• Assist customers with orders, serve food when needed, and refill display cases as required.
• Assist in cleaning the department.
