Job summary

BrightPointe is hiring for a healthcare kitchen position focused on food production and quality control. You will follow recipes with minimal supervision, apply refined knife skills, and ensure safe handling and labeling of all items.

A strong emphasis on sanitation and teamwork is required. This role supports culinary staff in daily tasks, maintains accurate temperature records, and adheres to health standards.

Qualifications

• Two years in a culinary role or a culinary certificate/degree.
• ServSafe Food Handlers Certificate required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and ensure consistency following recipes with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate advanced knife skills and cooking techniques.
• Identify and safely use all kitchen equipment.
• Label, date and rotate products to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Maintain an organized, clean and sanitary work area per Health Dept./ServSafe standards.
• Assist, train and guide prep cooks and culinary staff in daily tasks.
• Track temperatures and complete daily cleaning list.
