Responsibilities

• Produce consistent food projects following recipes with reduced supervision and direction from the Culinary Manager; maintain quality presentation standards.
• Exhibit advanced knife skills and cooking techniques.
• Identify and safely use all kitchen equipment.
• Label, date and rotate all products for safe keeping and sanitation.
• Maintain an organized, clean and sanitary work area per Health Dept/ ServSafe standards.
• Assist, train and guide prep cooks and culinary staff in daily tasks.
• Basic inventory control, requisitions and par levels.
• Refer to menu for prep and diet needs of customers.
• Record food temperatures three times daily.
• Complete daily cleaning list.
