Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Cook to prepare menu items, support daily kitchen operations, and maintain a clean, organized environment at our Florida resort. You will assist with ingredient prep, monitor inventory, and help train new team members while following safety and sanitation policies.

You will execute recipes, manage station setups, uphold standards, and report equipment issues. The role requires ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain it, and the ability to work quickly in a team

Qualifications

• Ability to read product labels and communicate basic job-related information.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and safe food handling.
• Experience in a hotel, resort, or restaurant kitchen is preferred.
• Culinary coursework or ServSafe certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and supervisor instructions.
• Set up and break down assigned stations for service.
• Assist with ingredient preparation including washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping.
• Maintain proper cooking temperatures, times, and techniques for consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, prep areas, utensils, and storage.
• Perform routine and deep cleaning and sanitation tasks and trash removal.
• Report equipment issues or safety hazards immediately.
• Attend scheduled meetings and trainings and contribute improvement ideas.
