Job summary

Levy at American Airlines Center in Dallas is seeking a motivated, service-driven, and experienced event-based part-time Culinary Supervisor to join our Culinary Concessions team. This event-based leadership role will direct and supervise food-service associates in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

The role requires at least 3 years of supervisory experience and a ServSafe certificate.

Qualifications

3+ years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
1+ year in Food & Beverage, Hotel/Hospitality, Club or Full-Service Restaurant.
Valid ServSafe or state-approved Food Handler's certification.

Responsibilities

Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
Advises management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages.
Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
Operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use.
Maintains food rotations to minimize spoilage and waste.
Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
Operates food-service equipment safely and according to procedures.
Assists in serving meals and gathering customer feedback.
