Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant, stadium, hotel, catering operation, or event venue.
• Valid ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, knife skills, and food safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Flexible evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
• Assist with ingredient prep, portioning, labeling, and storage following FIFO and HACCP.
• Ensure proper temperatures, presentation, and portion control.
• Taste items to verify quality and consistency.
• Maintain production records and follow ticketing procedures during service.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment.
• Store or discard food according to safety regulations.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and report issues.
• Assist with inventory, receiving deliveries, stocking supplies, and production planning.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety standards.
• Build positive relationships with chefs and teammates.
• Attend required safety training and related duties as assigned.
