Job summary

Levy at American Airlines Center in Dallas is seeking a motivated, service-driven Culinary Supervisor to join our Culinary Concessions team. This event-based, part-time leadership role directs and supervises food-service staff.

You will ensure quality and portions, follow recipes and safety standards, and provide excellent guest service during events such as games and concerts.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or food service.
• At least 1 year in Food & Beverage, Hotel/Hospitality, Club or Full-Service Restaurant.
• Valid ServSafe or state-approved Food Handler certification.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and time management.
• English literacy (reading and writing).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a loud, busy environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; evaluates performance.
• Advises management on purchasing to minimize waste and prevent shortages.
• Uses recipes and production standards to ensure quality and portions.
• Operates and cleans equipment per procedures.
• Stores, labels and dates food items; minimizes spoilage.
• Follows HACCP guidelines for safe food supply.
• Operates food-service equipment safely per policies.
• Helps serve meals and gathers customer feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

LevyatAmerican Airlines Centeris seeking a motivated, service-driven, and experiencedevent-based part-time Culinary Supervisorto join ourCulinary Concessions team. This event-based, part-time leadership role will be responsible for directing and supervising food-service associates in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
• Advises management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages.
• Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy; maintains established food rotations in storage in order to minimize spoilage and waste.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Operates food-service equipment in a safe manner and according to established policies and procedures.
• Helps serves meals; remains present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum (1) year of Food and Beverage, Hotel/ Hospitality, Club or Full-Service Restaurant experience.
• Valid ServSafe or state-approved Food Handler's certification.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to remain focused in a loud and busy environment.
