Job summary

The Wonderful Company’s La Cocina in Shafter, CA seeks a versatile Culinary Associate (Level 3) to support kitchen operations and guest service. You will cook, assist with FOH duties, and ensure fast, friendly service in a busy setting.

Role combines BOH cooking with FOH order fulfillment, focusing on high-quality food prep, presentation, and a positive customer experience. Monday–Friday schedule; 9:30 AM–5:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of restaurant experience, including cooking on the line.
• Valid Food Handler Card or ServSafe certification required, or ability to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Cook menu items to order with quality and consistency.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Set up and maintain line stations with ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
• Follow recipes, portions, and presentation standards.
