Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and guidelines established by the Culinary Services Director.
• Adhere to special diets to support resident health.
• Taste, smell, and observe food to ensure conformance to recipes and presentation standards.
• Serve appropriate portions and provide seconds as needed.
• Prepare snacks according to schedule to ensure adequate nutrition.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen environments and clean equipment and areas.
• Ensure proper temperature control and proper dating of stored foods.
