Job summary

Eventide Fargo Care Center in south Fargo, ND is hiring a Culinary Assistant / Server for a full-time shift 6:30 am to 2:00 pm. You will provide meal service to residents under sanitary conditions, communicating and coordinating with the Nutrition and Culinary Services team to ensure timely operations.

Ideal candidates may have prior food service experience, though it is not required. The role includes weekend and holiday rotation, with a competitive starting pay and benefits package including

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Offers and serves menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
• Follows portion control size standards.
• Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes all dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers used to provide meals as well as other assigned cleaning duties.
• Operates equipment in a proper, safe, sanitary, and respectful manner.
• Prepares various menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director (Coordinator) and/or Culinary Cook.
• Monitors daily menu items in order to verify that all necessary items are prepared and labeled.
• Stores leftovers appropriately according to food handling standards.
• Organizes and plans work schedule to meet times for serving.
• Operates dish machine according to directions. Pre-soaks and sorts dishes and utensils.
• Assists in accepting vendor deliveries and storing items in the proper areas.
