Job summary

Brookestone Village, Inc. is seeking a part-time Culinary Assistant for the evenings to join a respected long-term care team in Omaha, NE. You will help with meal prep, kitchen sanitation, and dining area upkeep as part of a compassionate culture.

The role offers evening shifts (4:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.) and up to 20 hours per week, with every other weekend required. Compensation ranges from $16 to $21 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook or kitchen handler is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, such as pots and pans, up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.

Hours:

4:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Up to 20 hours per week

Pay Range:

$16.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience
