Job summary

SeniorAge is seeking a Culinary Assistant to support meal preparation and service at the Branson, MO facility. Under the Culinary Lead, you will help prepare meals, serve residents, and keep food storage and service areas clean.

A safety-sensitive role requires adherence to standards and possible substitution for the Culinary Lead in their absence. Qualifications include a tenth-grade completion, food handlers certification, and ServSafe certification within timelines.

Qualifications

• Completion of tenth grade required.
• Prior experience cooking in small groups preferred.
• Food handlers certificate required; must be obtained within first 90 days of employment.
• ServSafe certificate required in applicable counties; must be obtained within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and serving of meals under the supervision of the Culinary Lead.
• Maintain cleanliness of all food storage, preparation, and service areas.
• Perform Culinary Lead duties in their absence.
